Get to know me
Hello everyone, my name is Jodie, and I love capturing pure love and connection in my images.
Although I have no children of my own (yet!), I adore my role as "Auntie Jodie". The birth of my niece in 2020 inspired me to capture my own family moments. Then covid hit us all, and I missed so many of those milestones, which made me realise how important it is to cherish those special moments.
Fast forward 5 years, and I have graduated with a degree in photography and specialised as a professional maternity and baby photographer. My approach is relaxed and natural, my goal is to make every family feel completely at ease so we can create authentic images filled with love and warmth.
A few facts about me:
1. I am a huge fantasy lover
2. I have 5 beautiful floral tattoos and 15 piercings
3. I have a massive sweet tooth! Sweet > Savoury
4. I start every day with a cup of matcha
5. I cracked my head open when I was little, and I'm left with a very permanent scar in the middle of my head (not as cool as Harry Potter's) ⚡
6. I love reading, my favourite series is ACOTAR
7. I was 22 the first time I went on a plane
8. I have been a vegetarian for 8 years and I love animals
9. I love to pottery paint
10. If I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me in a board game café
